One of the things on our "to do before baby" list was to have someone come out and clean the carpet. I am embarrassed to say that they haven't been cleaned (I vacuum often, but I mean clean cleaned) since Molly has been born. So we started looking it to who had the best prices and all of that good stuff. Then...I got the idea to browse on amazon and look at steam cleaners....just for fun. I saw that this puppy had 4.5 stars from almost 1,700 reviews. That means a lot to me! I love amazon reviews and I place a lot of stock in them. I convinced Dicky that we should get one. You know, it saves money over time, all that stuff. Well...this was only $139 at Walmart and it will save lots of money over time. I have already cleaned our entry way and all of the upholstered furniture that we have. It did a super job!

Our Visit With Santa!
This morning, we went with the News to see Santa! The kiddos weren't really a fan of him, but we got a few "good" pictures.
Here are the winners:

Rachel tried to give Jaxon a pep talk and bribe him with candy!
Here is how it went...
After all of the drama, we took them to ride the carousel. Then the parents rewarded themselves with some Mexican food at La Hacienda. We figured we had earned it! :)

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
Thanks for coming to see Santa with us Jared, Rachel, and Jaxon!

Sweet Baby Smith!
Well, I am 27 weeks pregnant and haven't posted a single thing about this pregnancy other than the "we are pregnant" and "it's a girl" posts. Probably because for the first 19 weeks or so, I felt horrible most of the time. And I think we have taken maybe two belly shots vs. the fifty million that we took when I was pregnant with Molly. I guess when you are chasing a 19 month old around, you just don't stop to do things like that. We are still just as excited to meet her! I will spare you all the belly shots and show you a picture of our sweet baby instead.
My OB office got a new 3D/4D ultrasound scanner and they had a deal back this summer that if you signed up, they would do it for free. FREE?! So we figured, why not? We didn't do a 3D ultrasound with Molly, so we have nothing to compare, but we can't wait to meet miss...oh, wait, we can't nail down a name! We are pretty sure on the name, but if I post it on the blog, I feel like it is official! So, not just yet. :)
Anyway, here she is at about 26 weeks. Right when we started, we saw her take a huge yawn, and then she went to sleep. Hopefully she will be a good napper!
We love her so much!

First Haircut!
We took Molly to get her first haircut today! We want her bangs and the back to keep growing out, but the back part was getting scraggly. We only got about 1/4 in. trimmed off of the back and added a few layers. It is a pretty subtle, but here are a few pictures:

(Doesn't she just look thrilled?)

It's a...
...GIRL!!!
We are so excited and blessed to have another healthy, baby girl. We can't wait! Dicky and I had a feeling all along that we would have two girls! The ultrasound went great and she weighed 9 ounces, right on track! Well, she was actually measuring about a week ahead.
We found out on a Wednesday afternoon, and then had a gender reveal party for the grandparents on Friday night. It was hard to keep the secret in until then, but we had fun. I think that everyone was shocked! I felt so much worse this pregnancy, so they thought it was a boy.
They were surprised when we cut the cake and saw this...
We ordered the cake from Candy Haven, in Denton. It was DELICIOUS...amaretto flavored cake!!!

Molly was all dressed up for the party!
Look at all of that blue!
My brother, Uncle Brian, is working hard and finishing up his Air Traffic Controller school in Florida, so he joined us on the computer. We can't wait to see him next month!

Molly didn't quite understand all of this little sister business, but she sure did enjoy the cake!

Lately...
Wow...I got in here to make a post and realized that I had a draft from a month ago. It was titled "lately", which is the same title that I was about to post for my post today. So, here is an old post that I am just posting today. Here ya go...
Since we got out new phones, we have been taking so many pictures and videos on them, that our nice camera has been neglected. The phone is just sooooo convenient! I guess all I have to do is upload those on the computer, but just haven't done it yet. Here are some pictures that I did find on our "real" camera that were taken over this past month or so!

Molly Has Something to Tell Everyone!

Molly is going to be a big sister in March! The past few weeks, she has been so nurturing to her babies. She hasn't had a bottle in months, but somehow she knows how to feed her babies with their bottles. She even burps them! When she goes down at night or takes her nap, we can see her on the monitor. She pats her babies on the back and says "shhhh".
It is quite amazing to watch. She is learning soooo much as each day goes by!

iPhoto Rocks!
So, our old laptop got a virus and we barely got all of our pictures off of it before it bit the dust. We weren't too upset though because we have been trying to find every excuse to get a mac. We didn't want to spend the money, but we are soooo glad that we did. It is pretty much amazing! Our other computer lasted almost 8 years so we are hoping that this one will last that long, too.
Anyway, all I have to say is I LOVE iPHOTO! Our other computer had photoshop elements and it was good, but the mac is so much easier to use and takes 2 seconds to organize all of my pictures. Here are a few of my favorite pictures that I have edited using the iPhone program.

I love this picture! This was taken a few months ago when Molly was learning how to walk. :)
I love this girl!

Molly and her Pops at the snow cone stand. They match!
This was taken after Kim's graduation. She worked so hard!
