Lately...

Wow...I got in here to make a post and realized that I had a draft from a month ago. It was titled "lately", which is the same title that I was about to post for my post today. So, here is an old post that I am just posting today. Here ya go...

Since we got out new phones, we have been taking so many pictures and videos on them, that our nice camera has been neglected. The phone is just sooooo convenient! I guess all I have to do is upload those on the computer, but just haven't done it yet. Here are some pictures that I did find on our "real" camera that were taken over this past month or so!

A ponytail!?!

Blurry picture, but this is our most successful attempt at a ponytail so far! It took a clip and it didn't hold for very long,but she sure did look soooo much older for the few minutes that it did last!

Molly Has Something to Tell Everyone!

Molly is going to be a big sister in March! The past few weeks, she has been so nurturing to her babies. She hasn't had a bottle in months, but somehow she knows how to feed her babies with their bottles. She even burps them! When she goes down at night or takes her nap, we can see her on the monitor. She pats her babies on the back and says "shhhh".

It is quite amazing to watch. She is learning soooo much as each day goes by!

iPhoto Rocks!

So, our old laptop got a virus and we barely got all of our pictures off of it before it bit the dust. We weren't too upset though because we have been trying to find every excuse to get a mac. We didn't want to spend the money, but we are soooo glad that we did. It is pretty much amazing! Our other computer lasted almost 8 years so we are hoping that this one will last that long, too.

Anyway, all I have to say is I LOVE iPHOTO! Our other computer had photoshop elements and it was good, but the mac is so much easier to use and takes 2 seconds to organize all of my pictures. Here are a few of my favorite pictures that I have edited using the iPhone program.

Snow Cones!

We mad a trip up to Van Alstyne for some great (and cheap!) snow cones. Dicky had to work that night, but we sure did miss him! :) Molly loved the snow cone! This was her second one, the first was at McKinney Trade Days. It was hot and that was all we could get her to drink...she has a sweet tooth!

Petting Zoo

A few weeks ago, we went to the petting zoo with our friends. Molly had a great time! She still calls every animal a dog, but we will get there. :)

I am still here!

I know that I have never been that great at keeping up my blog, but i have taken a break these past few weeks. I realized that I was not spending enough of my time getting all of our MANY pictures actually organized on the computer and ordered. So I decided to take a little break from the blog until I get all of that caught up. I think I have also decided to make a digital scrapbook for Molly. I have had good intentions to make a "real" scrapbook, but like a lot of my good intentions, it got pushed to the back burner. The days just come and go so quickly when you have a 13 month old! So, the scrapbook things remain in the closet, but I am almost done organizing all of my pictures on the computer and am working on figuring out all of this digital scrapbook stuff. It is going to be a lot of fun and it will hopefully be something that I can really commit to!

Until I am back, here are some pictures of my sweet baby (ok, toddler) girl! She brings us so much joy!
