Wow! A lot has happened since the last post! I have loaded pictures from graduation that I will post today. We also went to Anna today and finalized all of our options. They got several new granite samples in so we did make a change to our counter tops. I don't have those pictures ready yet but I will get them. Our foundation is scheduled to be poured this Tuesday! The framing will also be done soon and we will do our best to get a lot of pictures. I may have already said this in another post but David Weekly takes pictures and puts them on our website. Dicky and I have a David Weekly website that we can log into and see what part of the process they are in. They also post pictures on our site. It is great because sometimes things are happening so fast and we can't always get out there to take pictures as often as we would like to. Pretty soon I will have a lot more free time. Eight more school days! Dicky will be locking himself in the study and preparing for his first PA test. It is a test over all of the legal issues in medicine. This test is a requirement for PAs effective January 2008 so Dicky is one of the first PAs to take it. Once he finishes that, he will lock himself in the study again to prepare for the PANCE (his big 'ol test). Then we will be on our way to San Juan to cruise and relax! It is about time! :) If things go as scheduled, we will have pictures of the foundation and framing soon. Yea! :)

Well, Dicky has graduated! Pictures of graduation will be coming soon. We have a few more pictures of the house to show you. The ball is rolling! :) Dicky is in North Carolina for the rest of this week. He is going through a review/prep course for his PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certification Exam). It may take me a few days but I will get graduation pictures posted as soon as I can. I know that these picture look like a bunch of dirt but man...we sure are excited about this dirt! :)

May 11, 2008-Mother's Day

Well, Dicky is in North Carolina now. We have some great friends there that have let their home be his home away from home. We are so thankful for them. Chris is also a PA student. They have a daughter named Emma who calls Dicky "Dr. Dicky." Chris, her dad, told us that every time they go to the grocery store she says, "Daddy, is Dicky going to be here?". While he is in town they all make trips to the store...as a matter of fact they are all at the grocery store right now. I guess that is why she asks Chris if Dicky will be there. While Dicky was on the road, his phone decided to crash and it made some funny noises, the screen turned funny colors, and that was then end. So...he got a "go phone" which is a great thing. You put your sim card in it and you are ready to go! It even comes with a wall charger! :)

As he left on Saturday, we couldn't believe that this was the last time. We both thought, wow-this is the last time that he will be driving to North Carolina. That is very exciting for us. It was also hard for me because I couldn't drive with him and nobody should have to drive 18 hours alone but he sure has done it several times. It has been a long year for us and we can't wait to see what the next year will be like for us. Although it was great not having to share the bed :), I will be glad to have him around for more than a couple of months straight.

Brian (my brother Brian) had the great idea of posting our floor plan on the blog. There are a few changes to this but you can at least get an idea. We are adding a wall and turning the formal living into a study. We are also adding a covered porch.

I hope that you are all doing well and I will do my best to post pictures when we have pictures to post. :)

We have a few new pictures! There are our cabinets, counter tops, and tile selections. We love them! The lighter tile will be in the bathrooms and the darker tile will be in the kitchen, foyer, and utility room. I also included a picture of a house that has our brick and stone combination. Hopefully ours will look this pretty! :)
