Dicky, Sarah, Molly, and Maggie: Hey! I had a baby!

So...we have another beautiful baby girl! Yes, almost 6 weeks ago. I am behind-surprise!

I wish I could summarize these past few weeks, but every single days has been different.

I will say that we are so in love with having two little girls around the house. I can't wait for all of the fun that we will have around our house in the years to come. We feel so blessed!

I will do my best to sum things up!

Dicky and Molly came with me to my 37 week doctor's appointment. While we were there, Dr. Robert told us that I would more than likely have Maggie by the end of the week. It was Tuesday. She was right!

After the appointment, we went to Pride Burger! It was our first time to go and we all loved it. A hamburger was the last "real" meal that I had before Molly was born, too!

Later that night, we went ahead and called my parents to come over. I had that "gut" feeling that it wouldn't be much longer until I went into labor. Glad they came, because the next morning I went into labor and we headed up to the hospital!

Here we are before we walked out the door. Our last picture as a family of three. That makes me sad and happy all at the same time. Those hormones will get ya!

Pops was on Molly duty while we were at the hospital. Here they are watching Babe. You can't tell by the serious look on her face, but this is one of her favorite movies!

Dad (Pops) asked me to lay a few outfits out for Molly. I thought that this was a funny picture. Here are her outfits, shoes included. He said he could handle picking out the bow!

We headed up to the hospital on Wednesday. Here are a few "before" shots.

Maggie Elizabeth Smith

6 lbs. 11.2 oz and 19 inches

My wonderful nurse and friend, Elizabeth, and Dr. Robert! Love both of them!

And our sweet Molly loves her sister to death. She cried her little heart out when she had to leave her. She is such a good big sister.

We had lots of sweet visitors!

We thought we might leave the next day, but Maggie had a little bit of jaundice going on. We stayed one more day. (Little did we know, we would return in a few days for a longer stay).

Here is our poor baby laying under the lights. I decided that I am going to invent a swaddle blanket that can be wrapped around these poor babies. It was so hard to leave her under there and not be able to cuddle her or swaddle her up. She ended up getting used to it, but it was rough at first.

She got to come out from under the lights on Saturday morning. We then had to wait several hours to see if her bilirubin levels had come down while she wasn't under the lights. It is quite a lengthy process. Sure enough, they were right on the border for normal and we were able to take her home Saturday night. We would follow up in a few days for weight check and to check her jaundice levels again.

The next picture is of Maggie in her car seat and ready to go. The blanket that is covering her was also covering my brother, me, and Molly when we came home from the hospital.
