You are looking at a picture of my new favorite must have...the Hoover SteamVac!One of the things on our "to do before baby" list was to have someone come out and clean the carpet. I am embarrassed to say that they haven't been cleaned (I vacuum often, but I mean clean cleaned) since Molly has been born. So we started looking it to who had the best prices and all of that good stuff. Then...I got the idea to browse on amazon and look at steam cleaners....just for fun. I saw that this puppy had 4.5 stars from almost 1,700 reviews. That means a lot to me! I love amazon reviews and I place a lot of stock in them. I convinced Dicky that we should get one. You know, it saves money over time, all that stuff. Well...this was only $139 at Walmart and it will save lots of money over time. I have already cleaned our entry way and all of the upholstered furniture that we have. It did a super job!

Isn't that a fun day in adulthood when you realize you've officially crossed over? No longer are you excited about new shoes or a hip new CD, but rather you're blogging about a steam cleaner. I love it!
P.S. You should rent it out to people and recoup your money!
Good to know! We really need one of those and I'm glad to hear about an inexpensive one that works!
We have a steam cleaner too and LOVE it. Nathan even does the inside of our cars sometimes! It is great and really does save money in the long rub.
